Work Experience:

1.                      System Engineer, Infosys Limited (2011-2012):

Worked as an application developer for Rosetta Global Product platform of Lexis Nexis which Provides access to search through Lexis-Nexis Legal and News Content with following verticals:

Search, Results view contains list of document pertaining to the user search, Document view, Document Delivery, Alerts for performed searches, History to access recently performed searches and document viewed.

My role is to perform following task: Requirement Analysis, Designing and developing the Application, Defect fixing and Handling of the issues, implementing new Enhancements.

Projects done under this role:

1.          Improved Results View.

Involves revamping of the results view to make it more user friendly and intuitive which enabled user to navigate through the results list much easily and improved performance. I’ve coded new framework for retrieval of results screen using struts framework and JSPs for improving the performance and support the new design. This project results in increase in the application users by 28%.

2.          Developed of new search forms French legal.

Created new search form for French legal adaptation users. The development of this search form was focused on independent administrative authorities (AAI) of France. The objective of the project was to make the search form more intuitive and user specific. The search results delivered through search is specific to AAI only. I’ve designed and coded the application mainly using AJAX framework and PL/SQL.

2.                      Senior System Engineer, Infosys limited (2012-May 2014):

For the same application following projects were undertaken as Module Lead:

1.          Merge Nexis (Merging of 4 News adaptation into one).

Merged four news adaptations which used to belong French, Dutch, Netherlands and United Kingdom hence developed a product later known as Nexis Europe. Due to this the company successfully decommissioned 3 news adaptations and reduced the cost and effort to maintain the whole application. The challenge was to create a frame work which will support the on demand migration of user data. I’ve designed the complete framework using XML, JAVA and PL/SQL. The frame work uses data in XML after converting it to a java object for the specific search from to trigger the migration of the data in the application data base.

2.          Development of new search form for Austrian legal for tax related information.

Developed a new search form for Austrian legal adaptation’s users which aids in search for tax related content in Austrian region. This project was the initiation of adapting the more advanced and intuitive search form layouts. I’ve designed and coded the application using JAVA, AJAX, XML, XSLT and Jquery for improving the rendering of the search form and User Interface.

3.                      Technology Associate Level 2, Sapient Consulting Limited.

Developed web based application for United Health Care (www.uhc.com) and KPMG (www.kpmg.com). These application are content rich web application based on content management system provided by Adobe. AEM 6(Adobe Experience Manager). I have also coded module for search and indexing using Apache solr for improving user search experience across the website.

·               Underwent an intensive training of 6months (Oct 2010-March 2011) as system engineer trainee at Infosys Limited and cleared it with a CGPA of 4.6 on the scale of 5.00.
